Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb release date final | Disney-Hotstar will stream Laxmmi Bomb

Khiladi Kumar was all set to lock horn with Salman Khan this Eid at the Box-office. Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb was scheduled to release on Eid this year with Salman Khan's Radhe ( Your Most Wanted Bhai). However, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and ongoing lockdown, release was postponed. In this scenario, the Producer of movie Laxmmi Bomb decided to release on the OTT platform and if we believe the report, Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb release date is final and it may be available on Disney+Hotstar for streaming from 15 August 2020.

Laxmmi Bomb is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana, a comedy horror film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. This is the directorial debut in Bollywood for Raghava Lawrence and it is produced by Cape of Good Films, Tusshar Entertainment House, and Shabinaa Entertainment. In Laxmmi Bomb, Akshay plays a man possessed by the ghost of a transgender who haunts everyone.

Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film's cast includes Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, Tarun Arora, Sharad Kelkar. This is the first time when Kiara Advani is starred opposite Akshay Kumar in a movie, previously both have shared the big screen with Good Newzz released in 2019.

The shooting of Laxmmi Bomb is almost finished but there's a lot of post-production work left, including editing, mixing, VFX, and background score. The production team is working very hard to complete Laxmmi Bomb pending work and make it available for OTT release.

As we all know lockdown is imposed and no new movie is having theater release. The last movie which was released in the theater was Irrfan Khan's Angrezi Medium in March which was later released on Disney+Hotstaralso.Amitabh Bachchan-Ayushmann Khurrana's Gulabo Sitabo also released on Amazon Prime Video a few days back. Now, its time for Laxmmi Bomb.

According to the latest reports, it is said that the film will be released on Disney+Hotstar this Independence Day, August 15, 2020. Laxmmi Bomb's producer is getting a huge amount of money from Disney+Hotstar for the streaming rights of this movie. If the sources are believed, Laxmmi Bomb has been sold at Rs 125 Crore to Disney+Hotstar.  

In the past few years, Akshay Kumar has always released a film on Independence Day, right from Rustom (2016), Gold (2018) to Mission Mangal (2019) and now he is working on Laxmmi Bomb to have World Digital Premiere this year.
